Life is so complicated and full of struggles. The daily challenges, hustling, struggles, power tussle and need for survival has really affected the peace coexistence of humans. The peace, togetherness unity and love was long gone as such mental peace now become a problem to achieve. The topic for this contest " mental peace" is so unique which will seek to highlight to us some of the benefit of acquiring mental health, ways of acquiring mental peace, etc and I really appreciate the host of this contest for this great work.

What do you understand by mental peace.

Mental peace otherwise known as peace of mind may be seen as the state of total wellness of the body, free from fear and pains. A state of attaining a total happiness and tranquility. It is also a state of being free from emotional stress, physical stress, financial stress, psychological stress and mental stress. To attend a mental peace one must learn not to live under fear, one must be contented with what he or she has, one must learn to live at peace with himself and with others. Because as my very good friend Epicurus will say, " one who causes fear, lives under fear" and such a person can not have a mental peace. So anyone who seeks to acquire mental peace must first be at peace with himself and with others. He must avoid seeking for what he doesn't have, not engaging in unnecessary desires, must be happy and live a happy life, must be contented with what he has.

Describe the effects of achieving mental peace on a body.

To live healthy is to have Peace of mind or mental peace. It helps in the functionality of the entire body and ensured a normal heart rate, It is very true that a good percentage of people who die of heart attack results as a lack peace of mind. People who commit suicide, who are in depression And some engaging in activities which prevents mental wellbeing such as gambling. Such person will not have have a total happiness because he will be exposed to expectations which when not achieved hindered happiness and tranquility, his life of more more thinking and worries. There is a medical report that says when someone engages in over thinking and worries, such a person lack peace of mind, and his at danger to having high blood pressure etc. therefore mental peace is necessary for a healthy live.

For one to achieve a mental peace, it is very necessary for us to avoid anything that hindered happiness, because happiness defines a state of mental peace. And as such, live a fulfilled life, lives healthy.

Tell us about the ways through which help to get mental peace

It is very important to note that happiness comes as a result of contentment with yourself and with what you have. It is the sole aim through which mental peace is achieved.
To achieve this, we must learn to pursue happiness, avoid unnecessary desires, possession of true and healthy friendship, live without fear, especially the fear of the unknown. Like the fear of death, the fear of tomorrow etc.
Engaging in any form of hatred for your neighbors, involving in cult group, causes trouble, been a source of fear to others deprived one of a mental peace because such a person can never be at peace.

In summary, to have mental peace is to have a Total happiness which gives one a healthy live.
Example, there are a lot of things which seems to bring mental peace but at the end it causes harm to ones mental health, like falling in love, marriage, betting, struggles for power and political position. In all this are some basic necessities which one must do with. Therefore to achieve mental peace is to be at peace with yourself and with others, and be contented with what you have avoiding unnecessary desires because it will come to you like others.
