The sleep is very important for the physical and mental well being of an individual. It is a biological process that can affect our mental and physical health.Now we will discuss about that what is the relationship of the sleep with the physical and mental health of the human beings.

Importance of sleep

During sleep, the body of the human beings starts to repair the cells of the body, and also the regeneration of the cells begins such as the growth hormone which is essential for the process of the growth and repair.

The role of the sleep is very important in the functions of the immune system because this natural process is important in the production of the cytokinesis and those kinds of the proteins that are helpful to fight with the inflammation and the infection. But if a person has inadequate sleep it can disturb the immune system and can make our body susceptible to the illness and disease by causing weakness in the immune system.

The process of the sleep is very important because it allows the body to conserve energy and the rate of the body metabolism reduces and make our to allow to take rest.

The adequate amount of the sleep plays an important in the regulation of the blood pressure and it will decrease the chances of the diseases of the heart and the stroke.The role of the sleep is also very crucial for the cognitive functions like memory, learning and the skills of the problem solving.

The sleep cycle of it disturbs can cause problems with the mood regulation such as inadequate sleep can cause anxiety and depression. Getting enough sleep is very important to maintain our good mood.
