"Holistic Medicine"
🍀 What do you know about Holistic medicine?
What I know about Holistic medicine is that it is a pattern of healing approach that the whole person's body, emotions, mind, and spirit in the quest for optimal well-being and health.
It lays more emphasis on the connection between the use of conventional medicine and traditional medicine. The purpose of using holistic medicine is not to treat symptoms but to uncover and address the root cause of the illness and support the overall well-being of the person.
🍀 If this were the case, you would choose this alternative.
Well, whether my condition is stress-related, chronic, or not, we'll manage it with conventional medicine alone; I will choose this alternative to stay healthy. For example, a person who is suffering from chronic migraine might opt for acupuncture, dietary changes, and mindfulness alongside conventional medical care. However, if I find myself in such situations, I will choose holistic medicine to get well soon.
🍀 Have you used any natural remedies or cures?
I think I have only used natural remedies once in my life, but I know of people who are using natural remedies, such as the ones named below, whenever they feel ill.
Lavender oil for sleep and stress
Ginger use for nausea
Turmeric for inflammation
Peppermint tea for digestion
🍀 You trust traditional medicine or holistic medicine more.
I trust both because they have worked for me. However, the best approach to use any of these is to balance them. Traditional medicine medicine is important and essential for surgery, acute care, emergency treatment, and infection, whereas holistic medicine shines in prevention, chronic conditions, and lifestyle-related issues. The truth is when taking any of this, we need to trust it and believe it would work.
