Hi Steemit Community!

My Experience with Bad oral Habits

As a kid, I had a habit of chewing my nails. My dad would often tell me to stop, saying " Your fingers are not fish!" I didn't understand why it was a big deal, but I knew it wasn't good for my teeth, I would giggle and promise to stop, but the habit was hard to break.

As I grew older, I realized that nail biting wasn't just a harmless habit. It was affecting my teeth and overall oral health.

The Harsh Reality

Now, as an adult, I can see the damage the nail biting has done to my teeth and nails. It's hard for me to stop biting my nails, even though I know it's not good for me. I've tried to break the habit many times, but I just can't seem to stop it. It's like my nails are calling out to me, tempting me to bite them whenever I'm stressed or anxious.
