Simple Natural Remedies to Support Tuberculosis Treatment
Tuberculosis (TB) is a serious illness, but it is treatable. With early diagnosis and proper treatment, overcoming this disease can become as manageable as recovering from the flu. Strengthening the immune system and avoiding fatigue are the first and most important steps.
Here are a few simple natural remedies you can try to support your recovery:
St. John's Wort Tea:
Place 4–10 grams of St. John's Wort into a cup of boiling water. After steeping, drink one cup before lunch and one before dinner.
Turmeric, Henna, and Rock Sugar Drink:
Boil 4 grams of turmeric, 1 gram of henna, and 20 grams of rock sugar in 2 cups of water. Strain the mixture, sweeten it with honey, and drink one small cup three times a day.
Sage Tea:
Place 2–10 grams of sage leaves into a cup of boiling water, steep for 10 minutes, and strain. Drink this tea three times a day.
Flaxseed and Honey Paste:
Grind 400 grams of flaxseeds into powder and mix with honey to form a paste. Consume a spoonful on an empty stomach each morning. It should be consumed within 30–40 days.
Eat Almonds:
Eat 10–15 almonds daily to support your strength.
Eggshell and Lemon Juice Mixture:
Grind the shells of five boiled eggs into powder. Add one cup of lemon juice and wait until the shells dissolve. Then mix in four tablespoons of honey to create a paste. After meals, take one small cup of this mixture.
