My Relationship With Sleep
Hello everyone, on this occasion I would like to participate in a contest held by @ abdullahw2 about the Birthday Contest || My Relationship with Sleep. Continuing my previous entry, I would like to invite my friends @ neyistar23 , @ sur-riti , @ xkool24 , to participate in this contest.
not everyone is lucky enough to enjoy the recommended amount of sleep. Others don’t have time, they are too stressed to sleep or they have poor habits in the hours before bed. If you’re going on 5 or 6 hours of sleep every night, to you it might feel OK for a while. But over time, sleep deprivation can be damaging to physical and mental well-being.
Part of the remainder is just keeping a good sleep schedule, in fact. Some people have certain habits before sleeping, such as reading a book, meditating for a bit, praying, or playing soft music. These routines send signals to the brain that sleep is near. It is also strongly advised to keep away from your phone and computer screen an hour before going to bed as blue light from the screens can inhibit the hormone melatonin, which is produced to help regulate your body clock while you sleep.
But many can get in the way of the quality of the sleep you get. One common source of sleep disruption could derive from environmental noises (e.g., traffic, noisy neighbour). Too much stress, an overactive mind, too much caffeine, late-night munchies, and too much screen time also turn that symbiotic relationship you have with your dreamer into a counterproductive one.
Poor sleep can ruin a lot more than your day. In the near-term, sleep-deprived individuals will be short in attention, irritable and a bit tired the whole day.” With repeat exposure, lack of sleep may also lead to a weakened immune system, greater susceptibility to high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and mental conditions such as anxiety and depression.
On the other hand, getting good sleep is also its own reward. The body is fresher, the brain works better, mood is more consistent and the immune system works better. Additionally, sleep also makes it easier for the cells to regenerate, besides balancing weight, offering better memory and learning ability.
They only thing more pathetic than this stunt is the fact that intelligence and physical/mental well-being are lost, sadly, for both men and women’s issues, on someone as simple and ignorant as you are. Sleep is part of the physiology of our bodies that we should honor. Healthy sleep habits — if we can keep them up — are good for our bodies and minds. Start small: Get enough sleep; no screens before bed, a decent bed etc.
