RE: Life Is About Helping. II, Contributed by @Olawalium
Once again, right on!
There is a certain amount of embarrassment to be told 'thanks' for something that you didn't even consider a favor. Sometimes the act of helping others is not a deliberate choice but rather a instinctive reaction.
So once you are done helping, you are not really expecting even an acknowledgement because the act was more like 'drinking water' (instinctive and natural). When the person then says 'thanks', you feel a bit embarrassed but at the same time you also understand the protocol of common courtesy.
Absolutely. I see it as normal so when they start "raining" thank you, it gets a bit embarrassing and yes, there is a place for courtesy. Thanks brother.
