I like my best friend and she thinks she's a lesbian

One of my best friends fulfilled years yesterday and we spent all day together, I admit that I like her a lot, we are very similar, we have the same sense of humor, we like the same music, the same memes, we never get tired of the other, what is the problem? she seems to be very confused about her sexual orientation and that makes her think a lot if she wants to be with me or not, she says she has a great appreciation for me and I like her for her but the truth should continue with my life and not force anything because if I lose this friend I'm going to be completely alone, my fears are very big as well as my insecurities, should I continue? I think I'm in love.
