thanks for the update Tim! Do you know how this may effect post payouts through that date?

Or are the changes only supposed to effect new posts created after the hard fork is implemented?

    Updated info - @pfunk said they will be two payout mechanisms right after the HF - one for the posts that were created before the HF (current reward curve) and one for posts created after the HF (linear reward curve).

    ah ok, thanks for the update on that as well though uh oh...

    hopefully it won't lead to all the mess and confusion with payouts that happened after the last hard fork!
