Explanation

---

✏️ Choose a pose in which you want to represent your human body drawing, and make a sketch that respects the shape and proportions for a good result. Explain and show the steps.

^{Today I am going to share a human body drawing with you all. I will try to recreate the girl’s picture that sir used on the contest cover. I don’t know how well I can portray it, but let’s give it a try. Without further ado, let’s get started.}

▪️ Step I

Necessary things

First, I gathered all the necessary materials. Then, using a pencil and a scale, I drew some lines on a white paper like this.

▪️ Step II

	Body structure

After that, I lightly tried to draw the body structure. I also added two arms at the top.

✏️ Next, outline the body using the sketch you made previously so you can realistically recreate the muscles and different body parts (whether female or male). Explain and show the steps.

Now I erase the unnecessary lines with an eraser. Then I try to make the drawing a bit clearer.

▪️Step II

	Dress outline

Now I draw the outline of a dress on the body. I erase the unnecessary marks. The outline of the human body is now complete. Next, I will add some shading using a pencil.

3.✏️ Proceed to shade your drawing in a simple but aesthetic way, in which you offer areas of darkness and illumination for a more realistic result, avoiding marked lines and achieving good blurring (You can use colors if you like).

▪️Step I

First, I start shading the dress. Here, I made the sides a bit darker and then shaded the rest according to my own style. The dress shading is now complete.

▪️Step II

Now I begin shading the hands. First, I shade the upper hand. Then I shade the lower hand. I also add light shading to the neck area. If you observe closely, you will notice that I have used darker shading in some areas and lighter shading in others.

▪️Step III

Now I start shading the legs. First, I shade the long leg that is bearing the body’s weight. Then I add shading to the folded leg. I tried to apply the shading very carefully.

▪️Step IV

Now I draw the face and head area. I sketch the eyebrows, eyes, nose, and lips on the face. Then I draw the outline of the hair. I add light shading to the hair and also lightly shade the face. I also draw and shade the foot of the folded leg. By looking at the picture, you can probably tell that my drawing is now complete.

▪️Step V

	Shading around the entire drawing

Now I slightly erase some areas of the dress shading using a shading eraser. In other words, I fade certain parts a bit to make the drawing look more realistic. Finally, I give a soft pencil shading around the entire drawing.

✏️ Show a selfie of yourself with your drawing, which must include your username and the date it was created.

Now I write the necessary tags and my username on a piece of paper and capture a photo of the drawing. Then I take a selfie with the drawing.
