Today’s Gameplay 🎮 | Steem memory game

Today I reopened the Steemit Memory Game and after not much thinking before I decided to give it another chance! The thrill of the card flipping and memory test was still burning in my memory since yesterday and I was keen to find out whether I am any better.
I began the game with a large smile and with the thought, today I am going to play far better. And then, to be truthful, I was able to do somewhat better-not perfectly!
Ever since the cards came on the screen my eyes were scanning rapidly. I believed I learnt a lesson in my mistakes yesterday so now I was trying to concentrate more. I did not flip the cards at random but gave myself a second to remember at what location the cards were.
The interface was still cool and smoochy and I really liked how I could get right into the game play without having to wait. Free version once more, refunded my money and that went even better!

This is something that I could feel as I played. This time my fingers were not in a hurry; my fingers were colluding with my memory, slowly but surely. And yes, sometimes I even laughed at myself since I was still turning over the wrong card despite the right card had been revealed only a few seconds earlier. At least however there were fewer wrong efforts this time than yesterday. That by itself is a win! 😅

The cards and I went through a roller-coaster ride of a battle, but at last I was finished with the game. The answers appeared on my display and here is what I got today:
- Time: 1:28
- Moves: 35
- Perfect Matches: 10
- Score: 1361 🎉
When I saw these figures, I was nott able to stop laughing. It was at least an improvement over yesterday 😂. Yesterday I was in the 41 moves and lower score, but the current stats are way better. I was proud that I had achieved this, however minor the improvement. In other cases it is the small steps that count most.

I also looked at the leaderboard, of course, I was not ranked last! However, as compared to yesterday where I was in the funny position of being second last, I felt a little better-placed today. Perhaps given a couple more attempts I can in reality go higher and end up surprising myself. The competitive nature in me is certainly alert now, however I am sure I am going to give it another shot the next day.

My Thoughts 💭
This game might look simple at first, but it’s a real test of memory, patience, and focus. I love how it teaches me to slow down and think before making a move. Every time I play, I learn something new about my own concentration levels. The leaderboard adds that extra spice of competition, and even though I laugh at my rankings, it motivates me to improve.
Overall, today’s gameplay was a mix of fun, challenge, and a small victory over my previous self. And honestly, that’s what makes the Steemit Memory Game worth playing again and again!!! 🚀🔥
