The Diary Game: Low Sales And Rainy Monday Tales(15-09-2025)

Good evening all, how are you all doing? It's such a great honour to be sharing my diary with you guys today, I've come to greatly appreciate your impact in my live. Steemit is one of the platform I've taken very seriously, I only dedicate this much energy because it's actually worth while and it's a pledge to always be active here, engaging with other users and posting quality contents. I mostly do not like Mondays because it's the beginning of the week and I don't get to record enough sales, you already know why. In case you don't know why, most people resumes work on Monday and they won't be needing my service because they've sorted it out already either with me or by themselves. It's just a few number of persons who'll work in only in the morning to get their shirts ironed on a Monday. This morning started off with rain and while it was raining, I sat at the frontage of my house, dressed and ready to leave to work immediately the rain subsides. I saw some kids around the compound with no preparation to go to school, I called and asked if their resumption date is different from others.

I left for work when the rain subsided, I opened and cleaned the two shops(my laundry shop and my wife's provision shop) and got it ready to be patronized. I sat outside to watch the both shops and attend to customers when they walk in but there was no sales in the morning as it had began to rain heavily again. My wife brought my breakfast to the shop, I ate and cleaned the plate because I was so hungry. We both sat inside her shop, talking about how this rainy season has affected our sales and some other things. I went to my shop after and fixed myself in a spot and dozed off.

In the afternoon, a boy came to buy something and I felt sorry for him the way he was soaked by the rain, the road was even flooded as well. From his look, maybe he enjoyed being soaked by the rain and even walking in the dirty water while I was here feeling sorry for him. I don't know how to work on this my shop's frontage that is always flooded each time it rains, I'm trying to estimate the cost because I do not want to start something and run off without completing it.

In the evening before going back home, I sent my wife to the market to buy Afang leaf so we could make a little soup when we get home. I've been eating much of spoon food for a while now and I want to have a change of meal, I snapped the Afang leaf when she returned and I began to pack in things into the shop and locked it when I was done. We both went home but not by trekking this time, we took a bike back home. We didn't want to take chances because it might actually begin to rain heavily if we decide to trek.

My wife began to prepare the soup while I took my bath and begin to write my diary, I posted late last night and don't want to repeat it again. I'll be having my bath and dinner after making my diary and will retire to bed when I'm done. Thank you all for having me, until next time.
