Hello, greetings friends, how are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. I am glad to participate in this week's contest and appreciate @jyoti-thelight for organising this contest. This week, I creatively constructed A map of Africa on a frame using waste cartons and I am sure you will all like it. Here are the details of my construction.

Materials For Construction

Step 1
I began by constructing the frame of the map. I measure a rectangle of 34cm by 29cm on the carton and then cut it out using a paper cutter. I also cut a 1.5 cm carton and gummed it at the back of the carton using adhesive to increase its width.

Step 2
I picked a carton, peeled one side of it and cut it into pieces measuring 1.5cm by 1.5cm using scissors.

Step 3
I drew a line on the background frame, which is 1.5cm away from the edges, and I gummed the 1.5cm by 1.5cm peeled carton around the edge of the carton using adhesive. I gummed it stylishly to give it beauty.

Step 4
I drew the map of Africa on a strong board. I began
the drawing from the top of the map down to the bottom. I also drew Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq and a few other countries.

Step 7
Here, I drew the map of Madagascar, cut it out and gummed it on the background.

Step 8
At this point, I started colouring my construction. I first divided the map into five different parts, which are Central Africa, Southern Africa, West Africa, East Africa and North Africa and coloured them using five different colours including Madagascar.
