"HWC contest #163: Food Diary Game - WEEK -53 by @dequeen (17/06/2025)".
Greetings to all members of this prestigious community and to you who is taking time to read my post. You are welcome to my blog. Today, I want to participate in one of the amazing contest called food diary game. I consumed the below meals today being 17/16/2025 and capture them so as to share the dairy game with my friend.
The morning was hectic for me. I woke up early because there was pilled of dirty clothes to be washed and I was on morning duty as well. Coming out of the laundry room, I prepare my breakfast.
The meal below is pasta 🍝spaghetti with boil Egg. This is one of the simple but fast breakfast. Pasta is known worldwide and lovely enjoy by thousands of families.
Before I could finish preparing my too daughter's, I was already late for work. As such, I have no option than to put my food lunch pack. Getting to my office,I buy out time and enjoy my delicious pasta. Since,it a good source of carbohydrates,l was energetic to run the morning affairs.
Lunch
Returning from work, In the afternoon,I decided to check my small corn farm, look and behold, it was ripe, I cut some of them 🌽 and cook it for my family members, we enjoyed the fruit our labour. Eating seasonal meal as a family great and lovely bone and unity. My daughter loves and cherish corn because of it natural sweetness.
Regular consumption of corn can provide our body with good vitamin, mineral and fiber. Remember it is carbohydrates food, which is a good source energy. Moderate consumption of corn contribute to balance diet.
Dinner
Waking from nap,I prepare a simple but nutritious dinner. This is porridge plantain. Plantain porridge is one of the simple meal for dinner,it doesn't require much ingredients nor much protocol.
I went to the kitchen,pick a knife and peel the thin membrane, cut it into smaller pieces and add brisket bone(properly steam and Season), onion, pepper, crayfish,Red oil, dry fish,salt and water.I allow it to Cook on a medium heat for 30 minutes and lastly added curry leaf.
Boom!! My dinner is ready.
Plantain is good source of Iron which contains fiber that support a healthy digestion and bowel movements.It contains antioxidant and blood sugar control.
I enjoyed plantain in different forms, be it porridge like this or fried, boil, mashed or roast.It is nutritious food with much benefit.
