It is always to my greatest happiness powering up my STEEM to steem power. As such I always ready to join this contest to show my eagerness to work with steemit. This contest is also a way of encouraging the users on the need and benefits of powering up their steem to accommodate more STEEM power which enhances ones reputation in the steemit community network.

""What is Powering up""
Powering up STEEM simply means converting your liquid STEEM tokens into a form of staked or vested tokens called steem power. Some of the benefits of powering STEEM include:

1. Long-Term Commitment
   Powering up is a great sign that you're committed to the Steemit platform.
   It builds your reputation and encourages community trust and confidence in you.

2. Increased Voting Power
   The more Steem Power you have, the more influence your upvotes and downvotes carry.
   And increases the feasibility of your post.

3. Curation Rewards
   With greater Steem Power, you earn curation rewards when you vote on other users' content.
   The higher your SP, the larger your share reward of the curation pool. And lot more.

So in my two months and a week of participation in steemit network, I have been powering up my STEEM to steem power because I am here to stay in this great Blockchain. I believe you can rate my effort using my STEEM power to let me know my strength or my weakness.

For today again, I want to share with my Steemian friends especially the new comments who may not know how to power up their steem to steem power to follow this step by step procedure on how I power up my last 13.58STEEM to steem power

First of all, you click on my wallet
After it has open, you will see different items, but for the purpose of this contest and guide on the process of powering up STEEM to steem power. (I will be limiting to steem power)
You will see:

Buy STEEM
STEEM
STEEM Power
You click on the small arrow head that is pointing down on STEEM. It will bring out some options like:

Transfer
Transfer to savings
Powerup
Trade
Market
Since I wanted powering up, I click on "powerup"

It then took you to another interphase with the following options
Convert to STEEM power
From @ my users ID
Amount.--------------
It has the power up button under it but not highlighted,

after putting the amount I wanted
to power up which was 13.58 the power up button was highlighted then I click . It took me again to another interphase with this option:

From emmalex25 (i.e my user ID )
To emmalex25 (since am powering up to myself)
Amount
Memo. (At this point memo is not required)

Ok button is highlighted, and I click on 'Ok'

It took me to the last interphase

This last interphase requires authorization to complete the transfer, it therefore requires me to put in my either active key, or owners key or master key.

After putting in my active key, my powering up was completed successfully.

My STEEM power that was 114.9 has now rose to 128.58 and my STEEM reduces to 0.008 Which shows that I power up everything.

I enjoyed powering up my STEEM to steem power because am here to stay in steemit.
