Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

Hello, good morning and happy greetings to all my Steemian friends. How are you today? I hope you are all in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, so you can carry out all your activities well. Alhamdulillah, I am back to share my daily activities on this happy day.

Ahad or Sunday, a national holiday, is a highly anticipated time for many people, especially students. Ahad is the first day of the Islamic calendar, commonly known as Sunday. Therefore, on this holiday, there are no teaching and learning activities at school, which is the usual daily routine until noon, and some even have to study until late afternoon. On holidays like Sunday, everyone can relax all day with their beloved families without having to worry about the sometimes draining study material. On Sundays, students can gather with their parents or beloved family, a rare opportunity during school days, Monday through Saturday.

As a teacher at a high school in Lhokseumawe, I experience the same thing every Sunday. This weekend morning, I began my Sunday holiday as usual, waking up before dawn. The call to prayer, signaling the time for dawn, could be heard from the loudspeaker at the Babul Huda Mosque in Panggoi, the village where we live. Before leaving the house to the mosque to fulfill my obligations as a servant, I first performed the two-rak'at sunat fajr prayer at home. Only when I heard the iqamah call, signaling the imminent start of the congregational fajr prayer, did I leave the house in the slightly overcast weather. After fulfilling my obligation to pray in congregation, I went straight home, despite the regular Islamic study group (Quran) every Sunday morning.

However, I didn't go straight into the yard because I wanted to take a moment to do some light exercise. I just walked around the street in front of the house, even if it was only for a few minutes. Then, after a few minutes of walking, I went back inside and took advantage of the break by lying down again with Raffa, who was still fast asleep. Especially since it was a holiday, Raffa's mum and I didn't have to go to work. So I could just stay home all day playing and keeping him company. Raffa's health had been less than ideal for the past few days, so I didn't take him for a morning walk. I just played with him in the yard when he woke up.

After that, I just finished some routine chores at home. I took my son out to one of his favorite coffee shops in the Meunasah Mosque area in Cunda. After about an hour of relaxing, we left and went home. After that, I just stayed home playing with Raffa until a moment later, I heard the call to prayer from the loudspeaker at the Babul Huda Mosque in Panggoi. I headed to the mosque to perform the Dhuhr prayer in congregation until it was finished. Then, I went home for lunch and played with Raffa again until he fell asleep. From afternoon until nightfall, I just did my usual activities at home until bedtime.

That concludes my activities on this happy day, and thank you for the continued support of all my Steemit friends everywhere.
