The Diary Game: My Food Diary(16-07-2025)

Hello besties, welcome back to yet another food diary session with me @gracewealth01. I hope you enjoyed the last one I dropped, today's episode will be about the meal I prepared for my friend's birthday party yesterday so please, spare me a little of your time, let's get down with this together. Yesterday was Wednesday and it wasn't lecture free, I got out of bed in the morning and prepared for school.

I left for school when I was done with all preparations including have my breakfast. When I got to school, I was informed that the class had been cancelled and I checked my class group to confirm the information and it was true. I was angry at myself for not checking the group before leaving the house, I didn't want to leave the school immediately so I stayed and had a little conversation with my friends and while having the conversation, our regular ice cream vendor came and I bought for myself and my girls.

I stayed in the school till afternoon and attended the lectures I had and after the class by 3pm, I found my way to my friend's place. I had asked her to parboil the rice and make some necessary preparations so I won't have to waste much time when I arrive and she did exactly as I had instructed her. I was first welcomed and given a treat, snacks was offered and I used it to beat down the hunger I felt that moment and I began my work after. I first fried the chicken that had already been cooked and made sure it was to brown when I brought them out of fire and set them aside.

I cooked some of my ingredients and stir fried the others before making my fried rice. I poured in some vegetable oil into a pot and allowed it to heart for some minutes, I went in with rice and some season cubes, added some veggies and stir fried. I tasted to know if the seasoning needed to be adjusted and I was satisfied with the taste, I poured in the chicken and allowed to simmer for some minutes. The meal was ready and served for review. I got some good comments from my friend and also stayed for the party

I went back home in the evening, couldn't wait for the party any longer. When I got home, I had my bath and went to bed. I wanted to wake up early and prepare for test so there was no time to spare for other activities. Thanks besties for reading, hope to see you on my next post.
