The diary game. A Peaceful Holiday Filled with Prayer, Nature, and Friendship

Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

Today was a holiday, and I was in no hurry to get up very early. Still, as part of my habit, I wasn’t able to stay in bed for long. Out of routine, I got up straightaway and went to purify myself for the morning prayers. Since it was a holiday, I could spend some more time in the mosque, praying and establishing a divine connection with the Almighty. I made supplications and then started my day with peace, prosperity, and a positive vibe, which I embraced for the rest of the day.

Returning from the mosque, I got straight to some gardening work, as I love maintaining the aesthetics of my place. Maintaining the lawn and its beauty matters a lot to me, and for that reason, I couldn’t leave it for later hours in the day. I finished the gardening work early, as I could get occupied with other assignments later on. I made sure to water the lawn, remove weeds, and place different plants at appropriate spots.

After finishing the gardening work, I went for a walk towards the orchard. Not only did I burn some calories, but I also checked the orchard to ensure that not many apples had fallen due to ripening. Wherever I noticed that apples were ripe enough to harvest, I conveyed the same to my father, who would hire some personnel for the task in a couple of days.

Later, I returned home and went straight to have breakfast with my parents, who were already waiting for me to join them. Since it was a holiday, I had enough time to meet my friends. It was Friday, and I had to be present for congregational prayers in the grand mosque of the village. For that reason, I completed some small tasks that had been left for me by my parents during the last week. For example, I had to wash walnuts that had been harvested just a couple of days ago. Without washing, they could not be presented well or sold, as they wouldn’t attract customers. The natural cover of walnuts leaves a stain that, if not removed in time, affects their appearance and, ultimately, their market value.

I continued this work until 12 PM. After that, I had some tea and then washed some clothes. I have a good habit of washing my own clothes and not leaving my responsibilities to others, as I don’t want to be a burden. I’ve been doing this since childhood, as my mother taught me to handle such tasks independently. I never hesitate or delegate my personal chores to others. I also make it a habit to wash my utensils, like the plates I eat in, after meals.

Later, I went for congregational prayers, which were scheduled at 2 PM in the local mosque. After the prayers, I saw that some of my friends were also there. We stayed at one of our friend’s shops, where we decided to visit Nilnag, a natural blue-water lake located about 7 km from our place. My friends decided to have something to eat there. I was assigned the task of picking up my friends from their places, and we all went home first to make the necessary arrangements.

Later, we reached the place, and it was quite a pleasure to be there. There were very few people around, which I loved, because being there in a huge crowd is always a waste of time. The commotion large gatherings create is always disturbing, and it ruins the peace of the place. That’s why we could truly enjoy the serenity of this beautiful lake. We stayed there until evening, and it got quite cold. Unfortunately for me, I was wearing a half-sleeve shirt, which made me suffer from the cold. I insisted we leave, and once I got into my car, it was warm and I felt some relief. We left for home, and I reached my place around 8 PM.

After reaching home, I helped my brother with some carton boxes that had just arrived at our shop. Later, I had my dinner at around 9:30 PM. After that, I spent some time on social media, scrolling through reels and interacting with my friends. Finally, at around 11:45 PM, I went to sleep.
