The diary game. Embracing the Serenity of Routine, Nature’s Beauty, and Spiritual Devotion Throughout the Day
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
I got up very early in the morning, as I have a habit of rising early. Once again, the birds living in the vicinity came to my aid and started chirping on the windows of my room, which helped me to get up a little earlier than usual. After getting up, I straightaway went to purify myself by performing ablution and then went to offer prayers in the mosque. I started my day with peace, prosperity, and a positive vibe, which helps me stay optimistic throughout the day and face challenges with a constructive attitude.
After making supplications, I headed back to my place to engage in some gardening work, as I’m quite enthusiastic about maintaining the aesthetics of my home. For this reason, I have invested a lot in making my place look beautiful. Early in the morning, I watered the lawn, removed weeds, and placed different plants in their appropriate locations. This has become a routine for me over a period of time.
After finishing the gardening work, I went for a walk towards the orchards. Not only did this help me burn some calories and stay healthy, but I also got a chance to check on one of our orchards. Usually, on different days of the week, I visit different orchards that we own. As the harvesting season is ongoing, we need to remain vigilant, as apples need to be harvested before they become overripe; otherwise, they fall and result in loss to the farmer.
Upon returning home from the walk, I took a shower and then joined my parents in the dining room, where I had my breakfast. Once I was done with all my morning chores, I left for the office. Upon reaching, I immediately got into my routine work of digitizing revenue records. For this, I work with other clerks who assist me with the dictation of the data that needs to be digitized. I cannot manage this task alone, as these revenue records have been maintained in the Urdu language—particularly in an old, formal style written by previous officials—which is quite difficult to understand and often unintelligible. A senior official has been deployed with us to help dictate the data.
I remained engaged with this work throughout the day and returned home later in the afternoon. After arriving, I had a cup of tea and took some rest, during which I also had a short nap. Upon getting up later in the day, I went to another orchard located on the opposite end of the village. On the way, I saw my friend, whom I asked to join me, and he was quite willing to accompany me. We first went to one of our orchards and later visited his as well. It was a refreshing escape into nature and tranquility. The experience was made even more beautiful by the aroma of ripening apples that had spread in all directions. Spending time in the orchards is always valuable.
Later, we returned home, and upon reaching the main market of the village, it was time for the evening prayers. By the time I reached home, it was time for the night prayers, called Isha. I purified myself and offered the prayer. After having my dinner, I quickly went to my room, spent some time browsing social media, and finally went to sleep around 11:30 PM, calling it a day.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
