The Diary game. “From Dawn to Dusk: A Day Rooted in Routine and Reflection”

in Hindwhale Community8 days ago

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

I got up early in the morning, and to my help, the birds living in the vicinity started chirping on the open windows of my room, creating a quite noisy atmosphere. Without any hesitation, I got out of my bed and prepared myself for the morning prayer, usually offered in the nearby mosque. I had gone to sleep a little late the previous night, but still, I was able to get up early, as it helps me start my day early and maximize my day’s duration. I start my day with morning prayers in the nearby mosque, and it’s where I attain some positivity and peace; it also helps me establish a divine connection with the Almighty.

After completing the application of water and performing all the important religious rites, I headed back to my place to get involved in some gardening work that I usually do early in the morning, as I’m quite enthusiastic about maintaining the aesthetic of my place. I usually spend a good amount of time early in the morning in the garden that I have been maintaining for quite some time now. I watered the lawn, placed the vases in their appropriate places—some plants need to be kept in shade, and others need to be kept in the open. After watering the lawn, I looked for weeds that might have grown over the past few days and removed them. Once I was done with all the gardening work, I did some physical exercise to help myself burn some calories, as it has been my routine for a long time now. I’m quite health-conscious and dedicate a good amount of time to my health as well.

As far as our valley is concerned, we, the people of this valley, have quite a complicated lifestyle where we consume a lot of calories, as our food mainly includes meat and other high-protein items. To burn these calories, strenuous exercise is quite important, and that’s what I usually do in the morning. After completing all my morning chores, I took a shower and had my breakfast together with my parents. Then I got ready for office and put on my new clothes. These days, I leave for office a little earlier than usual because I have been assigned some additional duties and need to spend more time there.

On reaching my office, I straightaway got into my cabin and started my workday. I had to reply to some audit queries that the audit team had raised a few years ago, and for that, I had to consult a few other field functionaries who have been involved with this work for some time now. After filling in this audit para, I had to update one more portal launched by the Government of India to note how our villages advance and make developments across different parameters set by the government. For this portal, I had to collect data from the village-level worker, who is actually the primary official responsible for collecting data from the villages. After putting this data into the portal, I was free to some extent.

It was already afternoon when I completed all these tasks, and then I helped my colleague in replying to some queries filed by applicants on the online portal. While replying to these queries, it’s quite important to form a proper document along with proofs that need to be enclosed, which takes some time and effort. Later in the afternoon, around 4 PM, we left the office. Then I had to go to a nearby nursery from where I needed to buy some plants to be planted in the lawn at my place. While choosing the plants, it was quite difficult to pick a few out of a huge number of options, and as usual, I got help from my friend who accompanied me there. After buying about five plants, I headed back to my place.

It was very late in the evening when I reached home. Upon reaching, I had a cup of tea, after which I rested for some time, and later I had my dinner at around 10 PM. It was around 11:30 PM when I went to sleep and called it a day.
