The diary game. From Morning Prayers to Office Goals and Cherished Time in the Kitchen Garden

Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

As I had to go to the office today, I got up very early in the morning. To my help came the birds living in the vicinity of my place, who started chirping on the open balcony of my house. Their noise made me very uncomfortable in bed, and I was quick to get out of its comfort. I immediately performed ablution to purify myself and then went to offer the morning prayers at the nearby mosque. Standing in the first row of the mosque very early in the morning gives a completely different feeling, and the satisfaction I get, the peace I embrace, along with the positivity, is always a unique experience. It helps me stay positive throughout the day and face challenges with a positive attitude.

After I was done with the prayer, I made supplications and then headed back home. I did some gardening work — watered the lawn, placed different plants in their appropriate places, and also looked out for any weeds that may have grown and removed them. I couldn’t go on a walk today because I was already exhausted from yesterday, and I was in no state to expose my limbs to more stress and strain. Instead, I did some warm-up exercises at home. Without breaking much of a sweat, I took some rest and then had a shower, after which I had breakfast with my parents, who were already waiting for me in the dining room.

After finishing my morning chores, I got ready for the office and left around 9:30 AM. Since I’ve been posted at the district headquarters, it takes me a little longer to reach the office than when I was posted in my own block. However, I take a shortcut route, which fortunately saves me some time and distance. I reached the office around 10 AM and had to wait for my colleague and other officials to arrive. Today, we set our target and pledged not to leave the office before achieving it — and we did just that. We made major progress in our work and are left with only a small portion of our first assignment.

During the day, I had my lunch, which I usually bring from home. Being posted in a different area made me a bit skeptical about where to eat, so to avoid this dilemma, I decided to carry my food and minimize my visits to random restaurants in the area.

Later, when I reached home, I couldn’t find my mother inside; she was in the kitchen garden. After calling out to her loudly, she responded, and I quickly went to meet her there. As we have been very close to our mother since childhood, we hardly stay away from her even for a moment. When we return home from the office or some other work, seeing her waiting for us is always a great relief. I helped my mom harvest red chilies from the kitchen garden. My assistance made her work a little easier and quicker, as otherwise, it could have taken more than an hour to do the same.

After getting fresh, I had some tea and then took a nap to refresh myself and regain some energy. Later in the day, I got a chance to meet my friends. I also had to stay at my brother’s shop for a while because he wasn’t there. After completing my responsibilities at the shop, I met my friends in the village market, and we spent some quality time together. I returned home and had my dinner at around 9:30 PM. I went to sleep at around 11:30 PM after scrolling through social media for a while.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
