The Diary game. Steps Toward Celebration: Distributing Wedding Cards

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

As there is a very happy environment here in our place, as my brother is going to get married in the coming few days, a good atmosphere prevails with relatives already arrived and helping us with various activities that need to be completed before the marriage ceremony. In the morning, it felt quite awkward to stay in bed for long. I got up early without even waiting for the birds to start chirping and wake us up. I went straight to the morning prayers at the nearby mosque after performing ablution and purifying myself. It took me more than an hour to finish my prayers, and only after making supplications did I head back to my place and straightaway get into my early morning chores. These days I don’t go on morning walks, as I need maximum time to finish my activities before I can attend my brother’s marriage ceremony. I removed weeds from the lawn and sprinkled water all over it. I did some physical exercise and then had my breakfast together with my parents. Today we had to embark on a journey that is quite significant in terms of this marriage and its overall essence.

Today we had to leave to distribute cards among the relatives who would be present at the marriage ceremony and be an actual part of it. As we had decided, marriages are all about celebrating moments with your loved ones and providing all the relatives an opportunity to gather in one place and enjoy some exciting time together. A few days back, an escalation between the two neighbouring nations had already ruined the mood and actually made us change our plans and keep the ceremony very short. But with the truce talks and the proclamation of a ceasefire, a wave of happiness returned, and that was the moment we decided to begin our journey of distributing cards among our relatives and friends and start the preparations for the marriage.

For today, we started our journey with the relatives who live just a few kilometres from our village. I had my maternal uncle with me, who helped me figure out where we had to go, as I haven’t yet visited all the relatives’ homes and know very little about many of the villages where these relatives live. A few families live in the Chanapora area of H.T., which is where I began my journey. At the very start, I found myself quite stuck in a maze-like situation, lost in a labyrinth where I couldn’t decide where to go. I had to call my cousin, who had been there a couple of times in the last few days, and with his help, I was finally able to locate our relatives. It was quite a tiring task, as I had to park my vehicle just outside the colony and then go on foot all around the area to find my relatives’ homes.

It was quite late in the day when we returned home, and upon reaching my place, I was surprised to see my uncle quite disappointed with the progress we had made throughout the day. The number of people that needed to be invited for the ceremony was quite large, and we had managed to invite only a few throughout the day.

It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
