Do you think desserts are important at special events?

Yes, the role of sweets in special occasions is very important as they enhance the festive spirit, delight the guests especially children atracted by the desserts and thus parents also enjoy and showcase the cultural heritage. The taste of sweetness is generally associated with happiness, so offering desserts enhances the festive atmosphere of the event. Sweets not only add joy and taste but also enhance the taste of the feast.

Sweets are a delicacy that is loved in most cultures around the world, and they help keep people happy. Many sweets are part of specific festivals and cultures. Here in South India, it is customary to make certain sweets during certain festivals. For example, sweets like Adhirasam, Pal Payasam, and Kozhukattai are part of the traditions.

Make one of the recipes that are shared in the course with a detailed step-by-step procedure along with images. .

Share the health benefits of the ingredients used in the recipe.

Eating sweets in general has the property of boosting mood. Rava Kesari is enriched with semolina starch, ghee fat, sugar sweetness, and dry fruits like cashews and raisins . Although it can be mentally stimulating and energizing, it is best to consume it in moderation as it contains a lot of sugar and ghee.

  • The starch, carbohydrade and sugar from semolina and sugar provide the body with immediate energy.

  • You can also get some vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants by adding cashews, raisins, and cardamom.
Adding ghee also provides some of the benefits of fat, but excessive consumption of ghee should be avoided.

  • Since rava kesari is a dessert, it contains a high amount of sugar and calories. Therefore, it is important to eat it in moderation and not in excess.

I would like to invite

Hello ,@jyoti-thelight

This post was really very beautiful and informative. You have explained the importance of sweets in a very good way. Truth is to be told, without sweets, any special opportunity seems incomplete. You have told the recipe of Rava Kesari in a very simple and attractive way. Photos given with each step make it even more understandable. The taste of Ge, the fragrance of semolina and the temper of cardamom, all of them should bring water in anyones mouth.
