Filming football match at St. Philip's Primary School, Use Offot, Uyo - Nigeria. [28-06-2025]

It was a nice opportunity for me on Saturday, June 28th, as I was found worthy to be engaged to film the highly anticipated qualifying football match between Nung Abitid FC and Idak Edat Stars. The match was part of the inter-family football tournament organized by the Use Offot community, a tradition that takes place every two years.

As I arrived at the venue, St. Philip's Primary School, Use Offot, I could feel the excitement and tension in the air. The teams were ready to give it their all, and the crowd was eager to cheer them on. I set up my equipment, ready to capture the action on camera.

As the match kicked off, I was struck by the skill and determination of the players. Both teams were evenly matched, and the game was intense from start to finish. I snapped photos with my phone, trying to freeze the moments of triumph and defeat.

The crowd was fully engaged, cheering and chanting for their favourite teams. The atmosphere was electric, and I found myself caught up in the excitement. As the match drew to a close, it was clear that Nung Abitid FC had emerged victorious, securing their spot in the tournament.

As I packed up my equipment, I felt grateful for the opportunity to film the match. It was a fabulous experience, and I was proud to have captured the action and emotion of the day.
