The Diary Game: Hectic Work DAY and Celebrating My Friend's New Job [15/08/2025]

Good day guys, welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly, it's a blessed day no doubt at all so I will be sharing with you how it will went about, hope you aren't tired just yet? Let's get to it guys.

I got up early because I had plans of fetching enough water to fill my drums before going to work and I needed to get it done before 9am, I didn't want to be queried at work again for coming late so I planned my day out before the day even arrived. I went to the place I normally fetch water though when I went there last night, there was no water but I saw no harm in trying again. This time, they had water, I fetched and returned home.

I didn't have time to waste so I changed the number of times I fetched water and even did it at speed, before 7am I was done and I had my bath. I had a meal at home so that part was handled, I had breakfast, got dressed and set out for work. Before now, I had received a call from my boss reminding me of the many task awaiting me at the office and I assured him, I'll surprise him by being in the office before my normal resumption time.

I got to the office, dusted my laptop and began work. I focused on work thoroughly to execute all the task on my desk, I couldn't even go out to have lunch due to the heavy task I had to handle. At 2pm, I got off my chair to do a little stretch. My back and legs were aching, I won't even mention my eyes that were already teary. I was so exhausted about working for straight five hours.

In the evening by 5pm, I closed for the day and my boss took me out to spoil me. I didn't exocet that from him but it came as s surprise, a way of encouraging me to do more and also keep to the habit of being punctual to work. I felt this sense of fulfillment, having the privilege to go out with my boss.

After some jolly moments, I got into the bus and went home. My friend was already on my neck, asking me to come back home that it's late. The call was so disturbing that my boss noticed and released me to go back home, he tagged me a married man even when I'm not yet. I got home and met my guys sitting outside and discussing amongst themselves, got to know that one of them just got a contract with champion breweries and that called for the gathering. I was genuinely happy for him and wished him well in his new job.

I had few drinks with them, went inside and had my bath. Dinner was served, I ate and asked for more because of how delicious it was. Till my next diary guys, do well to take care of yourselves and stay safe out there, much love from me to you all.
