Death is the greatest sorrow. Everything seems to break inside. No heart is able to suffer or realize the sorrow of leaving behind dreams and loved ones. I am telling you the story of a brave and beautiful girl Maliha. Maliha was a sweet and lovely young woman. Her smile never left her face. Regardless of age wealth or poverty she was able to assist everyone. "Maliha is like a flower—soft full of life and always spreading happiness " people in her street remarked. However all changed one gloomy day. Maliha got really ill. She was constantly exhausted. She was experiencing persistent physical agony. The worst news was delivered by the doctors after a battery of tests: Maliha had cancer. And it wasn't just any cancer—it was advanced. Her bones were already deeply penetrated by it.

Maliha initially had hope. "It's okay I'll fight this " she said. She believed that she might get better with some medication or therapy. Her body however began to give up gradually. She started to feel as though her bones were cracking from the inside out. Her back hurt. She suffered total injury to one side. She was unable to move at all. It became painful to eat to sit to breathe. Now day or night she lies on the bed. She no longer smiles. She has sleepy eyes. She sobs softly because the agony is too great not because she is weak. "You are my brave girl " her mother murmurs as she sits next to her dabbing at her tears. Her father wanders aimlessly searching for a doctor a cure or a miracle but nothing is working.

Maliha no longer speaks much. All she says is "Pray for me." She speaks slowly and softly. She occasionally spends a lot of time gazing up at the sky through the window perhaps asking God "Why me?" The neighbors who used to laugh with her now come to see her with tears in their eyes. They can't stand to watch her like this so they depart right away. Her bones had been eaten away by the malignancy. Her body is totally damaged on one side. She has trouble turning sitting and sleeping pain-free. She fights every minute of every hour. Even though she is still alive it seems like she is losing her life every day.

But Maliha is courageous despite her predicament. She doesn't yell. She doesn't gripe. With her eyes closed and her heart broken she simply endures the agony. Her room is silent and depressing. Her quiet reverberates through the walls. This is more than just a tale. This is Maliha's actual life. She continues to lie on her bed afflicted by this terrible illness. She needs love support and prayers. Her tale is far from over. Every heartbeat and breath she takes is a battle. We must not forget her. Let's pray that her suffering comes to an end either via serenity or healing. One soul cannot bear the weight of this grief alone.
