The Diary Game: Going To Work And Church With My Son (21/08/2025)

Good day to my lovely family in the steemit yard, I would really want to say that you all are the real MVPS, I don't even want to know about things that are happening around us presently but what I know is that God is still in the business of helping us, so I would love to share how my day went.

When I woke up from bed, today being Thursday, my son told me "Daddy, I want to follow you to the shop" I did not have it in mind to go to shop in the morning because I had ministration in the church, so I took him and we went to church. It was after we came back from church that we went to the shop together.

When we got to the shop, I gave him broom to sweep and to my greatest surprise he actually swept the place, though it wasn't that neat but it was a head start to something. At least you wouldn't tell me he can't do more and better if he is given time and proper training on how to go about cleaning ones environment.

When afternoon approached and I saw that he was tired and went to lie down, I told him to stand up so I can mix coco pops and milk for him to take for lunch, I know this is why he likes coming to the shop because he knows I will make sure I take care of his food even the one he has been crying about to eat.

After he finished eating, I washed off the plates he used in eating and laid some clothes on the tiled floor so that he could take his nap and allow me to work in peace. But then, that's not withstanding I had a nice time with my son today at work and I would love to take him to the shop again tomorrow if my wife would permit or take him to holiday lesson.

I washed the clothes I couldn't wash yesterday then I dried them under the sun and for those that were heavy and I knew that the sun wouldn't be enough to dry them, I took them to my dryer and dried them off.

When evening came, I took him back because it was already getting late and he didn't bath apart from the morning time he took his bath. Since school is resuming in no distant time, I took him to a stationary shop and bought books for him so he will use for the next term session.

When we got to the house, I was told by my wife that there was no garri at home for use to eat, we had soup but we needed garri, so I rushed to the nearby shop and bought garri for a thousand naira then brought it back home and my wife made and that was what we ate for our dinner

After eating, I took my bath and had my chewing gum to keep me awake so that I could share this diary before going to bed, time is really against me and I know but then in all, you could see I had an awesome day, thank you for your time my friends.
