The Diary Game: Standing In For My Co-Pastor In Morning Prayers (09-09-2025)

Hi guys, We are getting to mid-week, and most especially the month is running at a high speed. The year also is almost getting to an end, and somehow you will think that most of the things you wanted to achieve aren't even realizable by this time. Hear me, friends, you can still get them, but notwithstanding that, there are more years and time to get those things done, so keep your head high and trust in God for it.

I dressed and left my house in the morning to meet up with morning prayers in the church. I was supposed to anchor it, but due to the fact my co-pastor will be travelling to another state the next day, which was supposed to be his turn to anchor morning prayers, he asked me to take over his day while he takes mine, so I went, and after the prayer, I went back to my workshop and changed up.

Dirty customer's clothes everywhere; luckily there was sunlight, and I changed up and went to work immediately. I washed all the heavy clothes first before going for the lighter ones, and the white clothes came last. The sun was kind enough to dry out the clothes after I dried them outside. One of the things I have been facing here is how my drying machine gets heated up even when I don't use it that often. Different technicians have checked it and yet can't tell me why the thing is persisting. Right now I don't even know if I should go ahead and use it or just make do with it for now and focus on drying the clothes in the sunlight.

All this while I was doing this, I did not eat, so I bought snacks and ate; that took me the whole morning and afternoon. After I finished sun-drying the clothes, I brought them inside and put on my generator, then began to iron the clothes. They were much like I said, but I like taking on heavy tasks.

I ironed the clothes till I was done with it in the evening; when I finished, I had to arrange them just like you are seeing here and keep them. Tomorrow will be for delivery basically. Though customers called me to come and get more dirty clothes, I only went to 5 customers, and the rest, I told them I would be doing that the next day when I resume work.

When I got back home, my wife welcomed me with MTN rice, or you can call it yellow rice. I ate it and then appreciated her for the food, and then I sat down for the food to digest before doing any other thing.

When I stood up, I washed the plates and boiled water so that I could use it to bathe. The weather was so cold, and also my body doesn't like cold water these days; that's why I go for hot water anytime I come back home from work. I am trying to stop this because it feels like I am not living a normal lifestyle.

After bathing, I went to the main road to buy suya. My wife has been asking for it, so I had to buy it for her. I did not buy much since she was the only one eating it, and you all know that somehow these pregnant people have wild cravings. Who knows, if I buy it, she might not even want to eat much, and I will be left with the option of trashing it, which I wouldn't want to because I don't like wasting food.

When I came back home, I handed her the suya; surprisingly, she ate it all, and then I went inside and tried to share my day, but I was too tired to do so. That was when I dropped my phone and slept off.
