The Diary Game: Taking My Son To School And Work Stress (02/10/2025)

How is everyone doing? This morning, I prepared myself to go to work early, because I was going to drop my son in school before going to work. Though I still had other minor errands to run before going to the workshop. After I dropped my son in school, I hurriedly went to one of my customer that asked me to come and get clothes so that I can wash them for him.

When I finished the little errands, I went to the workshop with a handful of dirty clothes from my customers. Another heavy working day that needs extra strength and endurance but then, I signed it for it and I have to deliver each clothes at the set time of delivery.

When I finished praying, I opened the shop and immediately pulled my top and wore just singlet and trouser and then I began to wash the new clothes I got from my customers. After I washed the first part, I took it to the backyard and began to put them on the line for them to dry.

When I finished washing the lighter clothes, I paused for a while because I was hungry and with the fact I did not eat at home and it was 1pm already. I went to the nearby small restaurant and bought a plate of afang soup and fufu, I couldn't stay there and eat so I had to put then in a bag and brought them to my shop where I ate it.

After eating, I was so satisfied before I began to rest. After resting for some time and then I began to wash the duvet so that I can dry them early. This might even take up to 2 days to dry because today, we did not have sun that much. The weather was half-cloudy and half-sunny. It was just in between.

After I finished with the duvet, I took the duvet outside and hanged it on the line before I began to iron the clothes I washed earlier this morning. It did take a whole 3 more hours. This means, I took the whole afternoon and evening to iron clothes just to make sure I was done with them.

When I finished at night, I looked through the window and it was very dark so I decided to lock the shop and go back home to my family. My wife was already calling up my phone like she wanted to call me to glory, yea, I know she was missing me and me, I was missing her as well.

When I got back home, my wife asked why I took that much time, I explained to her then she apologized for calling that much before she gave me food and we ate together. She gave me okra soup and that was one of the best meal I have eaten in a while. The soup I bought this morning can't even match up my wifey meals.

After eating, I bath and went outside to stay. Then I called my steemit mentor to get clarity of why my wife was verified in a particular community but I wasn't, he explained and I was okay with what he told me. After that, I went inside and began to write this diary so that I can rest. Tomorrow, I still have three customers to deliver their clothes to very early.
