The Diary Game: The Fight That Lead To Death In My Street (24/09/2025)

There was so much noise in my street today. I couldn't go out because I was still preparing myself to go to the workshop and besides I had so many things to do and going out to check what was going on wasn't part of it. When I finished the preparation, I took my bag and off I went to work. While I stepped out of my compound, I saw group of people standing and facing one side and when I went close, I met two guys fighting each other and they removed blood from themselves because they used sharp objects. I had to use another path because I was scared police might come and arrest everyone.

When I got to the shop, I dropped my bags and prayed then opened the workshop and began the work of the day. So much work for a single day because I had collected so many dirty clothes again from my customers to come wash. The truth is, you can't shy away from this type of work and yes, it's what have been putting food in my table.

When I finished the morning part of which was to wash the clothes and hanged them, even though rain fell heavily that morning when I was washing the clothes, before I could finish washing the entire clothes, the weather was clear as crystal so I bought rice and ate for my lunch so I will have strength and iron the clothes when they are dry.

When I finished eating and was resting in the workshop, my wife called me to tell me that police were raiding the entire street because once of those boys that were fighting had lost his life in the process. I told her to go inside and lock herself before they arrest her and join with others.

When I finished ironing other people's clothes, my son school had dismissed so I went and picked him up. When I brought him to the workshop, I gave him food and then asked him to sleep so that I can concentrate on the work I was doing. Then I washed his uniform.

While he was still asleep, I ironed other clothes that did not dry then after I finished with everyone's clothes, I removed his uniform from the drying line and ironed it against Thursday because he will still need to wear them to school..

When I finished ironing the clothes, I told him to get up so we could go back home, the weather had turned dark and besides, it was very late at night. When we got back home, my wifey gave us rice in a big tray and we ate.

After eating, I bathed my son and then helped him with his school work before I took him to his room and he slept. After he had slept, I had to come here and write this diary before it goes beyond the time I should share diary.
