It was the last day of October when I received some sad news in the morning, my friend Shuvo’s grandmother had passed away the night before. I felt sorrow hearing this, though she had lived a long life.

On the way to the market

After breakfast, I went out with my father to do some shopping. Before heading to the market, he stopped at the electricity office for some work, while I went to the bank to complete a small task.

Once we both finished, we met again and decided to go to the market. On the way, we stopped at Shuvo’s house to pay our respects and meet his family. At the market, we first bought fish. Near the fish market, a few shops had been set up for the Hindu festival, and I took some photos there.

After that, we bought vegetables. Once I finished buying fish and vegetables, I again captured some pictures of the festival stalls. Later, I returned home, while my father stayed at the market to complete some more shopping.

On my way back, I bought some malta (oranges) and a mango-flavored milk drink. At home, I freshened up, drank the juice, and cut one of the malta fruits for my niece. Around noon, I took a shower, had lunch, and then rested for a short while. .

Beautiful environment in the late afternoon

In the late afternoon, I met a younger brother-like friend, and we walked together for a while. In the evening, I met him again, and we went to the market. We strolled around different parts of the town, enjoyed boiled eggs, and drank sugarcane juice. Later, another friend joined us.

While going to the super shop, we met some more friends and had tea together. After spending some time inside the shop, we all finally returned home.

We walked a lot, laughed a lot, and took plenty of photos along the way. Days like this don’t come every week, and that’s what made it feel so special. All in all, it was a joyful and memorable day. Alhamdulillah for such a beautiful day.

My diary ends here. May everyone be healthy and safe by the grace of Allah. I will try to share my activities with you for the next day.
