KRS-One and Public enemy were great, true Hip-Hop artists. I'll even give love to Lil Wayne, his first several albums and mixtapes were great. It was his rock albums and his partnership with Drake, Nicki Minaj and the likes that made him give in to the mumble rap and auto-tune category of music.
I loved Lil Wayne's word play throughout all of his mixtapes through the 2000-2010. That's the Wayne that I at least had respect for. Not saying I don't anymore, I just don't look to him for anything of artistic value. Thanks for the comment!
