Im not sure about the Pearl Harbor reference - i'm guessing you're refering to the decimation of the native Hawaiians - yes ... All indigenous peoples should be recognized - and the atrosities condemned, regardless of their country of origin. my intention here was more to shed light on the positive changing attitudes of Americans as it relates to Columbus Day specifically. I had absolutely no intention to diminish the plight of any other culture - I dont think it was written that way, but if you or anyone else feels slighted - i apologize, and request that you read it again to clarify my position...

... for this post I want to explore the changing attitudes of Americans in relation to Columbus’ true legacy,

Thank you for the comment ... Point taken ... :)

No. I'm referring to the bombing of Japan after they have surrendered a week in advance. False flag excuse at Pearl Harbor to drop bombs at Hiroshima.

Hawaii never had a treaty with US and still hasn't. Technically an illegal adoption.

The celebration of slaughtering American Indians...Columbus Day?

Oh, BTW, I'm so not offended at all. We r here to share and discuss. Thank u for sharing. Aloha!
