RE: Penerbangan Perdana KLM ke Hindia Belanda, 1924
My dad worked for this airline, so I had a whole childhood of perks. We would go on intercontinental trips 3 times a year because of the standby tickets. Nowadays I do a lot of flying for business trips. I stay loyal to this airline out of nostalgic reasons. I have around 11 long haul trips to asia on this airline annually. Their new cabin is awesome in Business Class or Economy Comfort. In regular economy, not so much. I like the no nonsense ambience of dark blue and light blue. I used to have an "experimenting" phase where I'd fly Emirates, but I cannot get used to being in a nouveau rich, tacky interior with gold accents and bling. Back at KLM the Business Class product is great. No nonsense, full flat bed that is quite long. I'm a 5.9 male and I have so much room to spare beyond my head and feet when resting fully flat. However I do feel the gap is way too big between Business and Economy. Going 10 abreast in 777 economy made that gap even bigger.
