RE: American Civil War Letters - April 28, 1964 - Heart Disease, Suffering, A New Sewing Machine

Yes, I suppose the digital age does pose an interesting side to the whole thing. Me, I'm an old soul and very old-fashioned for my age, so I still like to write long handwritten letters to lifelong friends on important occasions and the like :P I find that there is a certain authenticity that comes with pen and paper that is largely absent from keyboard and screen. But to answer the question you opened up, I think that anything on the blockchain would be considered "original documents" these days, especially because even if you edit something you posted, the original will always exist and will always be visible to whoever wants to see it.
