Reza Rahadian Stars in the Black Coffee Film Filmed in Takengon, Aceh
Famous and senior actor of the country Reza Rahadian will be the main actor in the latest film Black Coffee. What is more interesting and surprising for Indonesian film lovers, it turns out that the film will be filmed entirely in Aceh Province, precisely in Takengon, Central Aceh Regency and part of Bener Meriah Regency. A number of interesting places around Takengon City (Central Aceh) and its surroundings will be used as filming locations for the film entitled Black Coffee.
The film Black Coffee itself is directed by Jeremias Nyagoen. In addition to Reza Rahadian, the film Black Coffee will also star top artist and Citra Award winner, Ine Febrianti. Ina Marapati, who is the producer of the drama genre film, explained the plan to shoot the film Black Coffee in the Gayo Highlands in front of Mr. Haili Yoga as the Regent of Central Aceh, on Wednesday (June 11, 2025). In the presentation, Ina Marapati explained in detail about the film genre, estimated shooting schedule, logistical needs, and potential cooperation with the local government and local community.

Regent Haili also expressed his appreciation for the trust of the Black Coffee film production team who have chosen Aceh Province, especially Central Aceh Regency, as the shooting location. The Black Coffee film will bring the natural beauty around Central Aceh to the big screen and this will have a positive impact on the local economy by promoting tourism in general.
The Black Coffee film is planned to be filmed starting on July 5, 2025. The Black Coffee film will tell the story of a blind couple, Onot and Rabiah, where the wife is pregnant at the age of 52. Meanwhile, the main location for shooting the Black Coffee film is in Rutih Village, Silih Nara District, Central Aceh.
