Muhammad Khalish Al Faiz (19) and Rizka Aula (22) were selected as 2025 Bireuen Inong Agam Champions in the final selection held at the Fajar Hotel in Bireuen, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, on Friday evening, July 18, 2025.

Khalish graduated from State Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Bireuen in 2024, and Rizka is an eighth-semester Accounting student at the Faculty of Economics, Syiah Kuala University (USK), Banda Aceh.

The lively meeting held by the Bireuen Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office was attended by the Deputy Regent of Bireuen, the Chairperson of the Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP-PKK), Sadriah SKM MKM, and hundreds of other guests.

The event also announced the first-place winners of Inong Agam: Daifan and Nazla Fadhilah. Second place went to Rezazul Munjir and Intan Nadila. Third place went to M Nabil Fahrazi and Putri Zianby Cintami, and fourth place went to M Rafly Pasya and Nadila Vonna.

The committee also named M Faqib and Asyura as the Agam Inong Intelegensia. Muhammad Habil and Miskiah as the Agam Inong Berbakat. Meanwhile, in the favorite category, the jury selected M Rafi Pasya and Riska Aula.

In his remarks, the Deputy Regent of Bireuen, Ir H Razuardi MT, stated that the selection of tourism ambassadors is an integral part of developing tourism and preserving regional arts and cultural values.

"The coronation we are holding tonight is a tourist attraction aimed at preserving regional culture.

It also promotes Bireuen's potential, including its history, culture, culinary delights, and tourist attractions," he said.

This inauguration also serves as a means to develop the potential, talents, creativity, and intelligence of the younger generation to become figures who can play a role in promoting the richness of art, culture, and tourism.

As Agam Inong Bireuen, they must be able to promote tourism while assisting the local government in encouraging the community to maintain a clean, beautiful, and orderly culture.

Ultimately, this will result in a society that is clean, moral, and mentally sound. Furthermore, the selection of Agam Inong Bireuen is expected to inspire and motivate the younger generation in carrying out their roles and functions in society.

The Chairperson of the Committee, Ira Savira, stated at the meeting that 65 participants participated in the 2025 Agam Inong Bireuen selection. This demonstrates the enthusiasm of Bireuen's youth to become tourism ambassadors.

From the selection process, seven pairs of Agam Inong participants were selected after going through various stages of administrative and multi-disciplinary selection involving a panel of judges from various fields.

Through this selection process, the Agam and Inong were selected for their competence, broad insight, and the ability to promote Bireuen's cultural and tourism potential to a higher level.

Muhammad Khalish Al Faiz (19), a Bireuen native, graduated from SDN 6 Bireuen, MTs Muhammadiyah Bireuen Boarding School, and SMAN 1 Bireuen in 2024.

He is the third of three children of Azhari and Ratna Sari Dewi, residents of Meunasah Tgk Digadong Village, the City of Struggle, Bireuen.

"Currently, I'm waiting for an announcement to study in Banda Aceh," he said.

Meanwhile, Rizka Aula (22) graduated from SDN 13 Jangka, SMPN 1 Peusangan, and also SMAN 1 Bireuen.

The second of four children of Zulkarnaini, SPd, and Dalviana, is an eighth-semester student in the USK Accounting Study Program. He is currently awaiting graduation from Jangka Alue Bi Village, Jangka Bireuen.
