I'm reading about a very interesting subject. lossely you can say this is a comparative study about different schools of thought in Islam. This is a research work and comprises on a series of books. The book which I'm currently reading is "The pattern of wisdom in Safavid Iran.
Currently i am on the chapter Cairo, in which author describes how they fell, adopted modernism, and what is their condition now.
Istanbul and Tehran's Golden days will be discribed in the coming chapters.
It's interesting to read history.

It seems really interesting. Tehran, Cairo and Istanbul! I hope the writing is an alluring piece of literature. Tahran is a marvelous city in history and particularly it belongs to Khumaini. Forugh Farrokhzad's story is really amazing. I think the writer penned about history, but the people which I mentioned belong to the near past. But over all, putting so many interesting things in one book creates a very strong impression.
And the book which I'm reading deals with Mulla Sadra, Mir Damad and Rajab Ali Tabrazi views. They have their separate doctrines which impact on the overall but external shape of اثنا عشری sect.But to read such things unveil a lot of confusion and the interesting point is that this research is written by unbiased authors.
I'm interested in reading about Istanbul more than any city, because it's Jehan's Istanbul, If you know, you know.

The author of islamic enlightenment also seems unbiased but is he?
