When I first saw your artwork (image and line separator), I thought it might be a playful, comic take on the original prompt.
However, your story beautifully respects the core line and builds a rich, eerie narrative around it. Where mine relied on restraint and silence, yours works through expansion and detail, a lovely, complementary interpretation.

Thank you so much for your visit and feedback on my post. In a way, I wanted to express something dramatic, combined with suspense and horror. The drama and feelings of a daughter whose mother ignores her. She takes refuge in her dreams, and by the time remorse sets in, it's too late because paranormal and supernatural entities are already lurking and feeding on something very powerful for them: the human soul.
