The door slamming so hard had jerked the lady up from her deep slumber.
‘Bye honey!’ the distancing voice called out and she recognized it as her husband's.
She looked around, letting out a huge exhale as she realized she spent the night on the couch in the living room.
She's a morning person, but this morning, she's already on edge. She's annoyed already.
‘what on earth does that man mean by ‘bye, honey’? '
‘mummy…’ the quiet voice of her son called onto her. She turned to him and in horror glanced sharply at the wall clock. It was twenty five minutes past eight in the morning, meaning her son was running late for school.
She had a very hectic and busy day yesterday at work, hence, her tiredness.
She was very exhausted.
But she let out a tiny groan, staring out through the window.
‘Romance is alive and well in the smallest of gestures’, the saying goes thus.

Romance between a couple could be displayed through tiny actions that might seem unnecessary and minute but it had always gone a long way.

Call her petty, but her husband's behaviors for the past five months was beginning to annoy her and think otherwise about his love confession to her. These unpleasant attitudes began after their son.
She's been getting mad at him a lot lately and it's beginning to wane off their emotional connection. Her affection for him was beginning to get compromised.
