Learnt something new today.
I have been hearing the word fakir but never realise what it took to become one. Must be like a priest if I'm not mistaken. These ones listen to people and offer counsel when never.
They pray often as well, communing with nature.
Fakirs look like they are practising the real "Hakuna Makana". Living with no worries for the rest of their days.
I think the original idea is that they live more like hermits than priests; they have no mission. They are self-sufficient. Unfortunately, in many ways it became a business. But... That seems normal these days. Take the Shaolin monks. They go on tour with their skills! So... Then I prefer the modesty of a fakir.
