Sewing Project | Enlarging a Garment

I hope you are very healthy by the grace of God.
I have been trying to attend your contest for several days but I could not find time. I was a little sick and I felt that I might not be able to attend your contest. But as soon as I felt a little better, I was able to find some time.
This is my daughter's salwar last year. I made it for my daughter. But this year it has become ridiculously small by about 5 inches. My daughter has grown 5" in a year. Due to which this year when she went to wear it, she found that it was much smaller than she needed. But over time, I did not get around to fixing it.
When I saw your contest, I remembered to fix it. I took steps to fix it right now.
I am going to show you in detail how I fixed this salwar. The original size of this salwar was 28 inches, I will now add 5" inches to it. Now, I will give the size of my daughter's salwar as 33 inches. For that 33 inches I need to take 5" fabric. I will design a little on the bottom part of the fabric and attach it to the old pants.
Materials required for this work

🧬Ribbon
🧬Chalk
🧬A piece of fabric
🧬Pearl penthi
Step 1
To make this design, I first took 7 inch + 16 inch fabric.
Step 2
In the second step, I cut the fabric with a few horizontal stripes.
Step 3
I cut a cross section of 1 inches on the other side as well.
Step 4
In the fourth step, I went to the sewing machine and sewed each stripe on both sides.
Step 5
In the fifth step, I completed the fabric by sewing on both sides.
Step 6
In this step, I removed the stitches from 5 to 7 inches and attached the bottom part after removing them.
Step 7 Step
In this step, I made a design with a pearl pendant in each corner of the room.
In this way, I made my small salwar suit bigger and more wearable. I hope you like my work. I bid you all farewell here with the wish of a healthy and safe life. My endless love and best wishes to you all.

I really liked how you lengthened the salwar making a feature of that section.
This week I've mainly had to shorten garments over here, but I'll keep this idea in my sewing folder.
