A Family Lunch at Shabushi, Central Phuket, Weโd Been Waiting For! ๐น๐ญ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ฆ๐

Hello everyone
This past Monday, my husband and I made plans to have lunch with our eldest son at Shabushi, located inside Central Festival Phuket. It had been almost two months since the last time we all sat down for a proper meal together, so I was really looking forward to it. ๐ฒ๐
We agreed to meet at the restaurant around 11:30 AM, hoping to beat the lunch crowd and enjoy some quiet time together.

Once we arrived, we told the staff how many people were in our group, selected the buffet price tier, and chose our preferred soup base. After that, the staff informed us of the time limit for the buffet โ which is usually around 1 hour and 15 minutes. โฑ๏ธ
We opted to sit at the bar-style counter, where the conveyor belt passes right in front of you. Itโs much more convenient than a regular table because you can simply grab the dishes you want as they glide past. ๐ค๐ฅฌ๐

โShabushiโ is a hotpot-style buffet, where you cook your food by dipping it into boiling soup. Thereโs a wide variety of fresh ingredients on the conveyor belt โ including beef, pork, chicken, fish, shellfish, and plenty of fresh vegetables. ๐ฅฉ๐ฒ๐ฅฌ
In addition to the raw ingredients circling by, thereโs also a self-service corner with Japanese fried food, sushi, and other tasty options like rice dishes and side snacks. Itโs easy to get carried away with all the choices! ๐ฃ๐ค๐

And of course, no buffet is complete without desserts and drinks! There was a nice selection of fresh fruit, several flavors of ice cream, and a variety of beverages to choose from โ both hot and cold. ๐จ๐๐ฅค
Itโs always fun to finish a hearty meal with something sweet and refreshing.

My absolute favorites among the fresh ingredients were the thinly sliced pork belly, sliced beef, and the springy, juicy shrimp. As soon as the staff placed the bubbling pot of soup in front of me, I started gently dipping them in one by one. ๐๐ฆ
The steam rose up with an incredibly mouthwatering aroma, and I honestly couldnโt wait to take my first bite. Thereโs something so satisfying about watching the food cook right before your eyes. ๐ฅ๐ฒ

We enjoyed our meal together, savoring every bite while chatting about life and work. I took the opportunity to ask my son how heโs been doing lately โ both at home and at his job. ๐ฅข๐ฃ๏ธ
It made me so happy to see that heโs truly enjoying his work and seems genuinely content. Moments like this โ just sitting, eating, and connecting โ are so special to me. ๐

After we finished our meal, it was time to part ways with our eldest son. My husband, our younger son, and I continued on to Moshi Moshi, a cute little variety store inside the mall. ๐๏ธ
This shop is filled with all sorts of fun and useful things โ from home goods and decorations, to stationery, plush toys, and more. I always enjoy browsing here because the prices are quite affordable. ๐ป๐๏ธ
But of course, affordable prices can be dangerous! I ended up picking so many small items that, by the time we checked out, the total bill was a few hundred baht. It made me laugh a little โ those little things add up fast! ๐๐ธ

It was such a simple day, but one that left me feeling warm and happy. Sharing a meal with my eldest son, catching up on his life, and spending time with my little one and husband afterward โ these are the little moments that matter most to me. ๐ฅฐ
Sometimes we donโt need big plans or fancy outings. Just good food, good company, and a little wandering through our favorite stores can be enough to make the day feel special. ๐๐ฃ๐
Thanks for joining me again today. I hope youโre also finding joy in lifeโs small, meaningful moments. See you in the next post! ๐
