Dugouts in Ustye
I checked the Ustye on the satellite map almost as soon as I started photographing the dugouts. But I've been planning to come here for a very long time, probably almost two years.
And all because I had doubts about the presence of cellars, as they look like stables or boat garages.
I often came across questionable places, and almost always my doubts were confirmed by the lack of dugouts.
But this time the cellars were confirmed!
However, I did not find them right away – there were dead-end places, or overgrown with tall grass due to the non-use of vegetable storages.
Surprisingly, there were my real favorite triangular dugouts on the banks of the Pelma River!
The only clarification is that there are no dugouts in the village of Ustye itself...or I didn't search well.
These cellars, mixed with boat garages, are located in the neighborhood of Lesozavod.
The sawmill (Lesozavod) is a separate neighborhood of the Ustye, located at the mouth of the Kubena River and is considered an island in high water.
Now a full-fledged bridge has been built there, and until that time the passage was carried out on pontoons.
Ustye has a highly developed river system, which attracts attention.
Even if there are no height differences, there are plenty of water bodies.
...The feeling among the dugouts was simply wonderful!
The moon was shining brightly and I didn't have to light up the stage with a flashlight.
This is my favorite weather condition for photographing cellars.
The memory code here is not the most vivid, but still the memory is quite strong.
