I like fishing in the pond a lot more. I have fished with a spear many times. But now sometimes I have to go to the pond to collect fish. I am present with my husband. I was present that day too. Fishing with my husband by the pond with a net and enjoying the view is really a very beautiful experience. The quiet silence around, only the chirping of birds and the sound of light waves playing in the water make the moment more lively. There is a kind of excitement while moving towards the water with the net in my hand, the anticipation of when the silver fish will jump out of the water makes the mind more curious. He stood on the edge of the pond with the net ready as he did. I stood on the bank with my mobile phone to take photos.

Seeing the scene of slowly pulling the net after casting it is a different joy. The expression of attention and hard work on my husband's face, and the light of expectation fills my eyes. When a few fish are caught in the net at once, watching them jump in the water is like a small festival. The twinkling light of the fish, the splashing of the water, and the beauty of the surrounding nature all combine to make the moments precious memories. Occasionally, the fish started moving in the net. I even went to catch it with my hand once. It felt great when I saw many fish rise and took photos. Along with the joy of fishing, sitting together and watching that scene means a kind of peace and closeness. It is as if the nature of the pond binds us together more deeply.

The joyful feeling that comes after fishing in a pond cannot be fully expressed in words. When, after casting a net all day, some fish finally come out of the murky water, it feels as if nature has given us a priceless gift. When we finish fishing and walk along the pond towards our own vegetable garden, the green and fresh environment around us gives a different kind of peace to the mind. There is a kind of pride in collecting fresh beans from the garden. Because the beans that grow on the trees planted by your own hands and the fish that you catch by your own hands, the taste of the cooking is different. Looking at the fish caught by hand and the beans in the basket, it seemed as if today's lunch was a reflection of our direct connection with nature.

Just as we were fishing together, I preserved the beans from the vegetable garden. Just as I had collected the fish. I was preserving the beans from the bun and she kept them in the bag.
