Friends, taking new photographs every day is my hobby. So today I have brought another photography of a butterfly. I will share the photography of a magnificent butterfly in the Eco-Lens Challenge 📸 Week 7 | Focus: insects & other invertebrates competition organized by CCS Community Moderator @joslud.

I took this photography from the Benapole border area of ​​my upazila. Since it is very agile and fast-moving, I had a lot of difficulty in taking photographs. However, after a lot of effort, I was successful in taking a few photographs of it. Which I am sharing with you at this moment.

Beauty:

Butterflies are such beautiful and attractive creatures that everyone feels good when they see them. That is why butterflies are also called symbols of peace. They carry the symbol of that beauty on their bodies and wings. Each butterfly has different beauty, colors and designs. Which attract people and nature. Each butterfly moves very quickly and quickly.

Bengali and scientific name:

The butterfly you see in the picture is a type of Skipper Butterfly. Its scientific name is Borbo cinnara. However, its Bengali name or common name is Prajapati. Because this species of butterfly is very fast and fast, they are called Skipper Butterfly.

Characteristics or physical structure of this butterfly: Their body is hairy and their head is quite large. They can fly quickly and randomly, which is known to be the reason for their name "Skiper".

Habitat:

This species of butterfly is usually found in various parts of India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia.

Food:

They mainly feed on caterpillars, leaves of plants such as rice, grass and bamboo.
