I see very positive things in your post. I see that you captured photographs from various angles and also that you mention the scientific name of the flower as well as the common name it's known by in your area.
In my country, we call these flowers "birds of paradise" and also "cockerels," just as you see them as bird-like.

What could be improved in your post? If I may make a suggestion, it would be to avoid repeating information you've already written in previous paragraphs; that gives the story a sloppy feel.
