RE: От дорогого Леонида Ильича дорогому товарищу Хонеккеру. Чмок. Чмок.

Hi, your series in which you share your various cameras is interesting.

I have a question from a novice and barely amateur photographer.

How different is the photography/image from this camera compared to the German one?

I'd like to learn, and please excuse me if my question seems silly.

Hello. Thank you for your positive feedback and the interest you showed in my post.
The answer to your question about the differences between cameras will be very long. After all, there are more than 600 brands of "German cameras". Which one to compare with?
I think it's better if you decide for yourself by looking at different photos on the resource https://www.lomography.com/ . Everything is simple there: choose the camera that interests you and look at the photos that were taken.

I imagine the number of cameras is endless. 🤣🤣

I wasn't referring to the hardware. My curiosity is about the quality of the photographic image you describe compared to the quality of photos from another camera.

Are there differences? Or do they both produce images of the same quality?

Generally, all cameras from the 1960s and 1970s produced roughly the same quality of images. The differences between them were in ease of use, reliability, and design.
