A Heartwarming Visit to My Aunt’s Village

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I'm doing great too. Today, I came to my aunt's house. It's been a long time since I visited any relatives, so I decided to spend this holiday at my aunt's place. I'll share the experience with you all.

A few days from now, I have my final exams, and there's a lot of pressure with studies, assignments, presentations, and viva exams. To take a break and refresh my mind, I told my mom, "Let's go somewhere for a trip." She suggested, "Why don't we visit your aunt's house?" So, we made the decision and came here during this holiday - me, my mom, my elder brother, his wife, and my niece.

It's not too far, about a 45-minute journey from our house. We had breakfast, freshened up, and left around noon. It took us about 50 minutes to reach their place. Since it's summer and extremely hot, we rested a bit after having some snacks. Later, before evening, we went out to explore with my cousin Lamia. Just to mention, they are three sisters and one brother, Talha.

Since it’s been a while, about two or three years—since my last visit, a lot has changed here. We roamed around, chatting and catching up. We visited the pond near their house, a place filled with memories. When we were kids and used to come here, we spent a lot of time by that pond, talking and having fun. Now that we’ve grown up, I don’t visit as often. After that, we went to a nearby field while continuing our conversations. It’s not exactly a playground, but the kids play there, so they call it a playing field. For about six months of the year, crops are grown there. My cousin Talha somehow got a bicycle, probably from a friend, and my cousin (the sister) started riding it. Meanwhile, Talha and his friends began playing football in the field.

Just to clarify, my cousin Talha is around 10-12 years old, and my cousin sister is about 13-14 years old, so they’re quite young. We kept chatting as the sun began to set, and evening approached. Then, we headed back to my aunt’s house. After freshening up and having snacks, we played Ludo together after a long time. Back in the day, we used to play Ludo a lot with them. Since it had been so long, playing Ludo with all the laughter and stories felt like reliving those old days.

This day was truly unforgettable. The time spent with them was amazing. That’s all for now. I’ll see you in my next blog. Until then, goodbye.
