Flower Photography- Peacock Ginger & Rose Flower

The butterfly-like flower you see in the picture is from the Peacock Ginger plant. This flower is purple in color. It may have other colors, but I have never seen it. I have kept this flowering plant in a tub. What I like most is that this plant dies during the winter and new plants grow from its roots during the monsoon.

I saw this flower blooming this morning and took some pictures of it, which I am sharing with you. The leaves of this flower are very soft. The leaves can be damaged by even the slightest blow. Therefore, it is better not to touch these flowers.

I saw many roses today. But the roses were very small. I like roses quite a lot. These are native roses. It is the rainy season now, so the flowers are not blooming that much. I have roses of different colors in my garden. I think these roses will bloom even bigger during the winter. Until then, I will have to be content with seeing these small flowers.
